London’s new hybrid bus

Hoping to lead to a roll out of vehicles in the UK’s capital a new prototype for a hybrid bus is being tested. Transport for London says the vehicle with a lightweight electric motor has been sent to Millbrook Proving Ground to receive testing.

Household waste propelled buses

In Lincoln, a trial fleet of buses has been introduced by Stagecoach that runs on household waste. First announced in March, they run on biomethane fuel which is made from recycled waste that is converted.
